Obituary For Wilton Jerome Baker Jr.
Wilton Baker Jr., was born August 10, 1967 to the union of Wilton Baker Sr., and Norma Jean Baker. Wilton was raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Ross Sterling High School and graduated in 1985. Wilton went into the Air Force right after graduation and made a career of the service. While in the service as an Electrical Aircraft Specialist, he also served multiple tours in Iraq. Technical Sergeant Wilton Baker Jr., was part of the maintenance team for the Air Force jets that escorted our President to safety during the 9/11 crisis. Wilton received several medals and awards during his career. He retired from the Air Force, after 20 years of service in 2006. After the service he continued working as an electrician. Wilton’s greatest love was for music and sports. He deejayed events and coached kid’s baseball while being the loudest voice during any sports activity. Wilton was a great brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all who knew him.
The sunset of Wilton’s life on October 27, 2021. As we retrace the seasons of Wilton’s life, we can only give thanks for the many lives he touched and enriched along life’s journey. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilton Baker Sr., and Norma Jean Baker.
