Obituary For Sullivan Williams

Sullivan Williams, affectionately known as Saul, was born December 7, 1953 to the late Henry Williams and Sally Williams in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was educated by New Orleans Public Schools. A true Ram, Saul graduated from George Washington Carver Sr. High School in 1973.
At an early age Saul began working in the hospitality industry. He was a true servant at heart. Saul also served as a Regional Transit Authority bus lift driver serving the disabled community in New Orleans and Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina. He was a member of the Hallelujah Choir and the Greater St. Stephen’s Mass Choir.
Sullivan relocated to Houston, TX to be closer to his family. He became a member of the Church Without Walls family. He served the children of this community working at Cy-Fair ISD as a School bus driver.
Sullivan leaves behind friend and former wife Elise Williams, sons Sullivan “Poncho” Williams Jr. and Kerri Williams. Sisters Patricia Johnson, Rosemarie Montrell (Wendell), Gwendolyn Clark (Barry), Sally Williams and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
