Obituary For Pastor James Earl Young

He was born in Houston Texas July 4, 1947 to the parents Harry Young Sr. (deceased) and Armathia Young (deceased). He was the youngest of four. He graduated from M.C. Williams High School.

James loved all sports, but he was a die hard Houston Astro fan Win or loose. He loved the Rockets as well as the Texans even when they sucked. On Sundays when he preached to his congregation he would go home eat his dinner and the tv would be on some type of sports for the rest of the night.

James also loved fishing. This is a hobby he shared and passed down to his son and grandchildren.
He loved to fish but you couldn't get him to ever eat fish.

He was very active in the help of raising his grandkids, he instilled in to them values of life, taking care of their cars, cooking, and God's love.

He was the Husband of Janice M. Smith-Young (Houston Texas)

He was a loved Pastor, Son, Brother to Robert L. Young (deceased), Harry Young Jr. (deceased) Johnny Young , Ella Dupar. Father to James Earl Smith and Danielle L. Young Grandfather to James Earl Smith Jr., Mia Fields-Young,(Kerry), Jonas Smith, Constance Davis, Chyanne Davis, Faith Woodard. Great Grandfather to Urijah A. Smith, Ka-El Fields.
