Michael, you will be greatly missed by your family and the many people you touched by simply being the love and light that you were. You lived your life to the beat of your own drum. I will also miss our early morning or evening chat with you telling me Shanique was very patient with you and taking good care of you. Love you my brother. Rest in peace. Your sis, Melba

Mike, you will be missed. I can't believe that you are really gone; I had just seen you! It will never be the same on our street; without you. No more watching Westerns and movies with the volume turned up sky high...no more sitting out on your porch enjoying the sunshine, and watching the birds and squirrels, while talking about life...no more watching sports - especially your Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros...no more hollering down the street to see if the mailman and garbage man had already passed by...no more calling to see if the storm had knocked your lights off too...no more eating your barbeque, and cakes. You had a generous heart, and you tried to help people out as much as possible...friends and family. You always lived your life with a positive attitude; you never let your health problems be a hindrance to you. Goodbye...until we meet again, my neighbor and my friend. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to Shanique, and the rest of the family. May the Lord give all of you, the strength to withstand this sorrow. Val M.
