Obituary For Bob Jurand Jr.

On September 4, 1947, Bob Jurand, Jr. lit up the Earth with his lively presence. He was the first born of two children to his proud and loving parents, Bob Jurand, Sr. and Theresa Malveaux in Houston, Texas. A year later, Bob Jr. welcomed his sister, Joyce Jurand Marshall. Within a few years, Bob Jr. was blessed with three additional siblings: Patricia Jurand Smith, James "Jackie" Brown and Betty Jean Geter.

Bob Jr. accepted Christ at an early age. He began his formal education in the Catholic Church School and later in the Houston ISD school systems, where he attended Booker T Washington and Jack Yates High Schools. He joined the United States Navy in (need year). Upon returning back to Houston, Bob Jr. began a lifelong career as a professional carpenter, where he was a dedicated member of the Carpenter's Local Union 551 in Pasadena, Texas.

It was a Wednesday, July 26, 1977, when Bob Jr. married the love of his life and soulmate, Brenda Joyce Kingston. From this union, a blessed and beautiful blended family was formed to include: Robert "Shrimp" Jurand, Brandon Jurand, Jamal Sanders and Roderick Sanders.

Early Sunday morning, October 10, 2021, God completed Bob Jurand, Jr's Earthly journey and transitioned him to his eternal home in Glory. He has now reunited with his parents, Bob Jurand, Sr. and Theresa Jurand Brown; son, Robert "Shrimp" Jurand and only brother, James "Jackie" Brown.

Bob Jurand, Jr. leaves precious, cherished memories with: his loving wife, Brenda Jurand; sons, Brandon, Jamal and Roderick; sisters, Joyce, Patricia and Betty; Great-Aunt, Rose Marie Benoit; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
