Ms. Batiste was a patient of the doctor I work for and she was one of my patients I just loved to see come in! She was always in a good mood that put me in a good mood. She never let anything keep her down, she was strong, and resilient. I was so saddened to hear she passed. Our deepest condolences to all of her loved ones from Alexis and Dr. Gray.

Betty Batiste and I met each other while employed by child protective Services ,in 1973. We became not only best friends, she was like a sister to me. Our families bonded together and we were very loyal to each other. She exemplified Christ not only in words but in actions. She will be sorely missed by our family.

Last time I saw you, you gave me a lovely stylish church fan that I still have. Thank you for your kindness, humor and for rocking with my Aunt Clo all these years. Katrina B.
